In March I was invited to be part of a collaboration of some brilliant Liverpool talents with a styled wedding shoot, in the beautiful Alma De Cuba. With a 6am start and a deadline of 11am before the bar opened, the shoot was intense but fun, and what better way to spend a morning than playing with beautiful fairy princess dresses?! The topper on the proverbial wedding cake had to be finding out we had been published on the Love My Dress blog!

A vintage-inspired shoot for ethical jewellery brand, Cred Jewellery

I’d been wanting to style a sports luxe shoot for ages, so when my photography buddy Matt mentioned an old converted gym called Don’t Drop the Dumbells, we had the makings for a perfect storm of a shoot! What we weren’t expecting was close to freezing conditions, and the aftermath of a hard night’s partying in the venue (read stale smoky air, sticky floors and half drunk plastic cups of beer!), but our model Milly was a real trouper, and HMU Wai disguised her blue lips beautifully!

After assisting with and styling some menswear catwalks, I finally had the opportunity to style my first mens’ shoot for a Liverpool-based magazine, Spiel. This was a lovely little studio shoot with mod styling and two great hair looks - this guy has the most amazing hair! And the final images looked fab in the magazine’s layout.
